Juventus end Barcelona's stunning Camp Nou streak

The Old Lady not only knocked Barca out of the Champions League, but also denied the club a bit of history
Barcelona missed the chance to equal a Champions League record when they crashed out of the competition at the hands of Juventus.
Luis Enrique's side lost 3-0 to Juve on aggregate in the quarter-finals after Wednesday's second leg at Camp Nou ended in a 0-0 draw.
Victory on the night would have been a 16th straight Champions League win at Camp Nou for Barca, a feat that would have brought them level with Bayern Munich's record of consecutive home victories.
Messi made to look human by Juve giants
Instead, Juve's defence – which has leaked just two goals in 10 European games this season – stops the run one short of the record-equalling mark.
Barca's run of consecutive Champions League victories at home - all of which came under Luis Enrique - started in September 2014, the streak being kicked off with a 1-0 triumph over APOEL

Prior to the Juve draw, the last time they failed to win at home was in April 2014, when a 1-1 quarter-final draw against Atletico Madrid under Gerardo Martino saw them exit that year's competition 2-1 on aggregate.

Kelechi Iheanacho Is Officially Nigeria’s Highest-Earning Footballer Now Been Paid A Whopping £85,000 (₦42Million) Per Week

Kelechi Iheanacho Is Officially Nigeria’s Highest-Earning Footballer Now Been Paid A Whopping £85,000 (₦42Million) Per Week

Manchester City wonder kid Kelechi Iheanacho has become Nigeria’s highest earning footballer in the English Premier League, and indeed all of Europe, as he now enjoys an £85,000-a-week (N42m) take home pay.
With his new bumper pay, Iheanacho has eclipsed Super Eagles skipper John Mikel Obi who has long been Nigeria’s highest footie earner following his move to Chelsea 10 years ago and is presently on 70,000 (N38m) pounds a week.
This comes after the 19-year-old put pen to paper on a new two-year contract extension that will keep him at the Etihad until 2021.
While describing the new and improved deal as a “dream come true”, the youngster said he could now “change the lives” of his family.
The deal came to fruition despite Iheanacho’s new handlers being locked in an ownership tussle with the player’s previous representatives, who are based in the United States of America.
Following a string of outstanding displays in his 2015/16 breakout year, his agents had initially demanded a staggering 150,000 pounds-a-week deal, a massive shift from his modest 18,000 pounds-a-week pay when he first joined the club, Vanguard writes.

Mikel’s compatriot at Stamford Bridge, Victor Moses bagged a 50,000 pounds-a-week deal when he joined Chelsea from Wigan Athletic in 2012, and will be looking for an improved offer after an impressive start to the current campaign under Antonio Conte.
Watford striker Odion Ighalo, who turned down a whopping €100,000-a-week deal to the Chinese Super league last term, is believed to have improved on his 25,000 pounds-a-week pay following a contract extension at Vicarage Road.

Man Brutally Rapes His Pregnant Neighbour In Ibadan! Claims She is His Girlfriend *PHOTO*

I saw this shocking report on Sun Newspaper and decided to bring it here... According to them, a 30-year-old man, simply recognized as Adeji is now cooling his heels in a cell at the Criminal Investigation Department of the Oyo State Police Command, Iyaganku for allegedly Molesting his neighbour’s pregnant wife.
Mary (other names withheld), a 23-year-old mother of two kids who is carrying a three-month old pregnancy was a victim of the suspect’s untamed libido.
Adeji waylaid the pregnant woman when she was returning from the stream in Sanusi village, Idi-Ayunre, Ibadan, where they are both neighbours.
It was gathered that Mary attempted to escape but was overpowered and Molested by Adeji, despite her pleas that she was pregnant.
After the illicit act, Adeji attempted to bribe her not to spill the beans, offering N500. He then fled the scene, leaving behind his pair of slippers.
Prior to the incident, Sunday Sun learnt that the suspect had been luring and making advances to Mary.
Mary’s husband had earlier lodged a complaint with the village head who issued Adeji a serious warning to desist from the damnable act, but he was not deterred.
After the incident, the victim was rushed to Adeoyo Hospital for medical examination after which a report was made at the Idi-Ayunre Police Division.
Policemen later visited the crime scene and eventually apprehended the suspect.
Adeji, however, told Sunday Sun that the housewife was his girlfriend and that they had been in a relationship before the incident. A top police source who confirmed the incident told Sunday Sun that the suspect would be charged to court once investigations were concluded. He added that the police would not relent in its drive to rid Oyo State of rapists terrorizing women in the state…
